2. Refund Eligibility

Donations made through our website are processed immediately and are generally non-refundable. However, refunds may be requested under the following specific circumstances:

• Duplicate Charges: Multiple identical charges on your account for the same donation amount on the same date
• Unauthorized Transactions: Charges made without your authorization, consent, or knowledge
• Technical Errors: Technical failures during the donation process resulting in unintended or erroneous charges
• Payment Processing Failures: Charges applied while the transaction was being processed but was not successfully completed
• Fraudulent Activity: If your payment method was used fraudulently

3. Non-Refundable Donations

The following types of donations are strictly non-refundable:

• Donations made after careful consideration and full acceptance
• Monthly or recurring donations that have been successfully processed
• Campaign or project-specific donations
• Gift donations made in someone else's name
• Donations already allocated to programs or beneficiaries
• Donations made more than 30 days ago (statute of limitations)
• Donations made with the full knowledge and consent of the donor

4. How to Request a Refund

Upon receiving your refund request, our team will review it according to the following timeline:

• Initial Review: 2-3 business days - We verify receipt of your request
• Investigation: 5-7 business days - We investigate your claim and verify eligibility
• Approval/Denial: We notify you of our decision via email
• Processing: Upon approval, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days
• Bank Clearing: Your bank may take an additional 2-3 business days to credit the amount to your account

6. Refund Status and Tracking

You will receive email updates on the status of your refund request, including:

If you have set up a monthly recurring donation and wish to cancel future payments:

• Previous donations already processed will NOT be refunded
• Cancellation will take effect within 2-3 business days

8. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with our refund decision:

• You may submit an appeal within 15 days of our decision

• We will conduct a secondary review within 5 business days

• Karuna Dham Foundation is not liable for Razorpay's errors or service failures
• However, we will work on your behalf to resolve issues
