Rohan Returned to School with Confidence

Rohan, a 10-year-old boy from a low-income family in Delhi, had stopped attending school because his parents could not afford uniforms, books, and other educational expenses. His father worked as a daily wage laborer, and the family struggled to meet basic household needs.
Karuna Dham Foundation identified Rohan through a community education survey and enrolled him in our child education support program. We provided school uniforms, shoes, notebooks, textbooks, and a school bag, along with regular educational guidance from volunteers.
Within a few weeks, Rohan returned to school with confidence and began participating actively in his classes. His attendance improved significantly, and he developed a strong interest in mathematics and drawing. Teachers reported noticeable improvements in both his academic performance and classroom participation.
Today, Rohan dreams of becoming an engineer and encourages other children in his neighborhood to continue their education. His journey shows that even small educational support can create a lifelong impact.
